The Lake City Development Corporation (LCDC) Board of Commissioners is accepting applications from individuals interested in becoming a volunteer LCDC board member. LCDC currently has one vacant position, with the term expiring in May, 2017.
LCDC board members are asked to attend monthly LCDC board meetings, which usually last less than two hours. LCDC committee work is also expected of board members, with certain committees requiring two to four hours per month. Additional service may be required on an "as needed" basis. The successful candidate must reside within Kootenai County but does not need to live within the City of Coeur d’Alene’s city limits.
Individuals interested in the vacant LCDC board member postion should send a letter of interest and resume to the LCDC Executive Director Tony Berns by July 12, 2013. An adhoc committee of LCDC board members will review submittals, conduct interviews, and recommend a candidate to the full LCDC board for consideration in August.
