Beginning
Wednesday, June 27, two-hour parking will be enforced in the upper parking lot
at the Coeur d’Alene Public Library and Coeur d’Alene City Hall (the lot
accessed from Front Avenue and Eighth Street).
According
to Library Director Bette Ammon this is being done to assure consistent parking
availability throughout the day for library users and for people with business
at City Hall.Parking beyond the two-hours limit will result in a $15 citation. Enforcement by Diamond Parking has been arranged so that people attending evening meetings and programs will not be ticketed.
Patrons and volunteers who need to be in the library or City Hall for longer than two hours are advised to use the lower parking lot during the day and to enter the buildings though the lower entrances.
