There is still time for North Idaho teens to enter this year’s
video contest sponsored by regional libraries.
The Community Library Network and Coeur d’Alene Public
Library invite teens, ages 13 to 18, to enter the Teen Film Festival Video
Contest. Video entries may be submitted as library public service announcements
(PSA) or shorts using the theme “Own the Night.”
The winning entry will receive $150 in cash. The winner of
the PSA contest will be eligible to compete statewide for a $250 cash
prize. Both categories will be judged on
creativity, message clarity and relevance, motivation and inspiration, and
overall impact. The Friends of the Coeur
d’Alene Public Library, Friends of the Community Library Network, and Friends
of the Post Falls Library are sponsors.
The deadline to submit entries is midnight Friday, Feb. 17. Winners
will be showcased at the Red Carpet Event, Coeur d’Alene Public Library, Saturday,
March 3, 7 p.m.
