The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is working on a number of projects that will improve US-95 through the Coeur d’Alene/Hayden corridor. A summary of those projects is as follows:- Neider Avenue north to Wyoming Avenue - $4.5 million - the old
pavement will be removed and a new overlay placed on the roadway, both north and south-bound lanes. Includes intersection work, beginning at Neider. Work has begun on this project and due to the amount of traffic on 95, work will be done at night, from 7 pm to 7 am, Sunday - Thursday.
- Blackwell Road to I-90 - this is part of a $2.7 million series
of projects throughout the District. Work includes rotomill and
overlay. As above, work will be done at night, Sunday - Thursday. Work
is expected to begin the first part of May.
- North of Ironwood to North of Appleway - hasn't gone out to bid
yet - Main work includes rehab on the concrete bridge deck and overlay.
Work is expected to start after Labor Day. This will also be night
work.
All three projects will tie into one another. For additional information, please contact Barbara Babic, Public Involvement Coordinator, at 208-772-1288.
