The North Idaho College Advisory Board, chaired by Chief Longo, met Thursday with Peace Officers Standards and Training(POST)and NIC to finalize last minute procedures for the first North Idaho POST Academy. The 13-week academy starts April 6th and has 20 students from departments throughout the five northern counties, including the Nez Perce and Coeur d’Alene Tribal Police Departments. This is the first of two “ trial” academy sessions.
